Cup of Excellence: Peru Palma

Top 10 finisher in the Peruvian Cup of Excellence competition, “Palma” is both a sweet and tropical coffee. The organic farm, “Palmachayucc” was founded in 2000 by Américo Palomino Alanya due to an over abundance of palm trees, which provides optimal shade for coffee growth. Growing solely Typica, in 2010 Americo decided to renovate 1 hectare of land and dedicate it solely to growing the Bourbon varietal. The vanilla hints coexist well with the melon and passion fruit notes in this coffee, lending itself to a refreshing experience.
